Excited Fans cause Davido disruption at Babcock Convocation

         

Davido the Superstar, allegedly disrupted the 2014 convocation ceremony of Babcock University in ilishan-Remo, Ogun.

In case you missed the buzz, the “Aye” singer was one of the 1,544 graduating students.

According to Vanguard, Davido made a dramatic entrance at the time the Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala – the guest of honour, was delivering a speech.

As soon as he stepped into the venue, there was a lot of shouting and screaming from students and fans, which made Okonjo-Iweala suspend her speech.

A few minutes later, his father Deji Adeleke reportedly intervened, saying “David! David! Leave this place now, and follow me wherever I go”.
