8 GIRLS INCLUDING 486 TERRORISTS WERE ARRESTED IN ABIA
Soldiers in Abia arrested 486 suspected terrorists, including eight girls were arrested on Sunday.
The suspects who are reportedly from Kano, Taraba and Jigawa states, informed soldiers that they were on their way to Port Harcourt to look for work when they were arrested, Vanguard reports.
Soldiers intercepted them around 2 a.m as they were travelling in a convoy of 35 Hummer buses between Arungwa Junction on the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway and Imo Gate.
Those arrested are aged from 16 years upwards.
The suspects were arrested on the same day police authorities in Imo state foiled a bombing attempt at Winner’s Chapel church.
Authorities stated that further investigation would assist in uncovering the true mission of the suspects.
